If you bought a copy of my workbook would you be willing to write a review of it? I really need reviews…I only have 6. Reviews help boost a book’s presence on Amazon. The more reviews a book has the more likely it is to show up in a person’s search. Click here to be connected to the Journey Forward Workbook Amazon page. Once on that page, click on “Customer Reviews” just below the Workbook title. Next, click on “Write a customer review”. I am so grateful for your help!!!
Also, my new website is up and running! It still has some kinks and errors to be worked out but at least it’s up. Thanks to my web designer, all of my websites feed to the same place. Take a look! JourneyForwardforLife.com Soon I will be adding helpful videos and workshops (online and in person). If you want to be on my email list, just sign up on my website.
So sorry for a long delay between posts. I ran into a bit of a technical issue with my blog that is now remedied. Since last writing, we have learned that Anna’s lung functions stabilized. She has about 1/2 her lung capacity. It has remained this way for about the last two months. Our hope is she stays at this level for the long haul. Anna has adjusted to the reduced lung capacity physically and doesn’t notice most of the time. We’ll know more about the progression of the chronic rejection this summer after Anna’s next Dr’s visit at Duke.
NEWS: I have a new website that will be up and running hopefully soon. I’m combining my Journey Forward website with my new, Journey Forward for Life domain. I am planning on offering videos and online workshops to supplement the Journey Forward Workbook. I also have an idea to create in-person retreats that will give a limited number of people the chance to go to a beautiful place where they can work on issues in a group format lead by me.
The first retreat will be on Self Care. You’ll have the opportunity to explore who you are, what you like and don’t like and how you can restore and recharge. We’ll dig into the whys behind the challenges you face in taking care of yourself or even knowing what you like. I’m excited about the changes to come. If you want to stay in the loop, please email me and I’ll get you on my email list. No constant filling of your inbox, just letting you know when I’m launching new offerings. Email me as well if you are interested in participating in my first retreat this summer: email@example.com
Here’s to humming along!
I just lowered the price of the workbook from $19.99 to $9.99. It will be available at this price in 3-5 days on Amazon. I will keep it at this price until January 29, 2018. I also created a Kindle version. The Workbook isn’t ideal for Kindle, but it does make it easier to take the Workbook with you when you are on the go. If you buy (or bought) the print Workbook, you can purchase the Kindle version for $2.99. It’s called “Matchbook Price”.
The Journey Forward for Life website will be up and running by the end of February. I plan to offer a variety of workshops to compliment the Workbook and help you on your Journey Forward 😉
Look what’s available for sale on Amazon! Click here to see it. I have a bit of work to do but at least it’s up. I don’t know how to get you a reduced price copy yet. I will be working on that this week but if you just can’t wait, you can buy it now 🙂 Hopefully you like it and will leave a review. Amazon is running a deal: use the promo code BOOKGIFT17 at checkout and get $5 off. It’s a one time offer that expires tonight.
If you find errors or something just doesn’t make sense, please email me so I can make corrections. Thanks! firstname.lastname@example.org
Another day closer! Any day now I am going to tell you how to purchase a copy of my Workbook 🙂 My plan is to offer it for the first week at half price as a thank you to all of you who have encouraged me and read my blog. I am so grateful for your support as I have walked this writing and publishing path.
The editing phase is incredibly challenging. I catch typos and formatting mistakes every time I look at the Workbook. Then I start thinking parts don’t make sense or aren’t as informative as I would like. Ultimately it comes down to sometimes thinking it just isn’t good enough. Honestly, it won’t ever be good enough. I have come to peace with it being good enough for now. There’s a part inside of me that wants it to be perfect. Perfect simply isn’t attainable. If I wait until then, you will never get a chance to have it.
The writing process is long. I keep reminding myself that although I want a finished product, I must be present in this moment of the journey. My workbook is currently in the hands of the United States Copyright Office. This afternoon I will be sending the manuscript to the printer. Here’s a sneak peak at two random pages from the chapter on Self Care:
